AEHCOS ( Asociación de Empresarios Hoteleros de la Costa del Sol)

This current year 2007, AEHCOS is celebrating its 30 years of life which may seem a very short time for the development of an economic activity , but it is in fact a long journey full of problems and successes ,working for the touristic development of the Costa del Sol being AEHCOS one of the main actors, we must not forget that Tourism is one of the lead industry not only for the Costa el Sol but also for all over Spain , involving the hostelry , touristy lodging, which is the foundation and motion for Tourism Industry and consequently the motor of our economy. The trajectory of our membership companies has settled the Costa del Sol as one of the main touristic areas in the World, as well for availability of lodging criterion than for the integral quality of the products offered and their global destination.

AEHCOS has been constituted nested by the Law 19/1.977, 1st of April and the R.D. 873/1.977 ,the 22nd of the same month. This norm has been ratified by the 1978´s Spanish Constitution which has consecrated the creation of Professional organisms contributing to the defence of the economic interests inherent to their activity.
